2017年，世界各地天文同好蜂擁至美國觀測日全食。日全食中有許多難得一見的奇景，像是日珥與倍里珠。本作品於全食中生光時的連續拍攝，由3張影像疊合而成，每張間隔2秒。除了清晰與立體的大日珥之外，還觀察到隨著時間變化一一浮現、大小不一的倍里珠，以及月球邊緣的崎嶇地形。全食期間雖短短二分半鐘，然此等壯觀景色，至今仍難以忘懷。

In 2017, astronomy enthusiasts from all over the world converged on the US to view a total solar eclipse. This image was obtained by continuously photographing. Three images were superimposed to form one image, with two seconds between each frame. In addition to the three-dimensional prominence, it is possible to observe Bailey’s beads of different sizes, as well as the rugged terrain along the periphery of the moon. Although the solar eclipse lasted only two and a half minutes, it was so magnificent that I have not been able to forget it.
